Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, Member of Parliament for Solihull West & Shirley, was pleased to attend this year’s Shirley Lions Carnival. The event brought together families, volunteers, and community groups in celebration of the vibrant spirit of Shirley.
Held in the heart of the constituency, the carnival featured a variety of entertainment, including performances by the daring Dangerous Steve and the captivating Brumvik Viking Enactment Group, drawing enthusiastic crowds from across the region.
Speaking at the event, Dr Shastri-Hurst praised the commitment of the Shirley Lions and local volunteers who work tirelessly each year to make the carnival a highlight of the community calendar.
