On the Spring Bank Holiday, Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, Member of Parliament for Solihull West & Shirley, joined local residents in celebrating the St John’s Church and Garden Centenary Village Fête in Tidbury Green.
The event, held in honour of the Church’s centenary, was a vibrant celebration of community life, featuring a wide range of traditional attractions including artisan stalls, classic cream teas and ice creams, traditional Morris dancing, and children’s activities.
Following the event, Dr Shastri-Hurst remarked:
It was a real pleasure to join residents at the Centenary Garden Fête in Tidbury Green. Events like this are the heartbeat of our communities – bringing people together, celebrating local pride, and honouring the traditions that bind us.
The fête was a resounding success, drawing attendees from across the local area and showcasing the warmth, enthusiasm, and unity of the Tidbury Green community and its surrounding villages.
