Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, Member of Parliament for Solihull West & Shirley, was delighted to attend the Macmillan Coffee Morning held at Churchill Living in Shirley.
The event brought residents together for coffee, cake, and conversation – all in aid of a very worthy cause.
Dr Shastri-Hurst enjoyed the opportunity to meet and speak with residents. He praised both the organisers and attendees for their generosity and commitment to supporting Macmillan’s work.
Speaking after the event, Dr Shastri-Hurst said:
“It was a real pleasure to join residents at Churchill Living for their Macmillan Coffee Morning. Not only is this a chance to raise funds for a vital charity, it is also a wonderful opportunity to bring people together. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with residents and sharing in the sense of community here in Shirley.”
The coffee morning was one of many hosted across the country, with proceeds going directly to support Macmillan Cancer Support in their invaluable work helping those affected by cancer.
