Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst MP visits Shirley Parish Welcome Café
Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, MP for Solihull West & Shirley, visited the Shirley Parish Welcome Café to meet with parishers and hear more about the important role the café plays in providing a welcoming space to bring people together.
During his visit, Dr Shastri-Hurst chatted with members of the parish and residents about the importance of having spaces where people can come together within their local community.
Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst MP said:
“It was a pleasure to visit the Shirley Parish Welcome Café and spend time chatting with local residents.
“Strong communities are built on initiatives like this. Having somewhere welcoming where people can come together, have a chat, and spend time with others can make a real difference, particularly for those who might otherwise feel isolated.
“I would like to thank Shirley Parish and everyone involved for inviting me and making the café such a welcoming place.”
